If you see or hear any broadcast which you feel breaches any of the following regulations you can make a formal complaint (click on the category for more information):

G. Published Matter
The RTÉ Authority is empowered to prepare, publish and distribute such magazines, books, papers and other printed matter as may seem conducive or incidental to its objects and also, subject to the consent of the Minister, to compile, publish, distribute, sell and exchange recorded aural and visual material. Complaints may be entertained that any specified matter which relates to news or current affairs (including matters of public controversy or current public debate) and which was published, distributed or sold by the Authority under the above powers, manner or included matter which might reasonably be regarded as likely to promote or incite to crime or as tending to undermine the authority of the state.
H. Ministerial Prohibitions
Where the Minister is of the opinion that the broadcasting of a particular matter or any matter of a particular class would be likely to promote, or incite to, crime or would tend to undermine the authority of the State, he may by order direct Broadcasters to refrain from broadcasting the matter or any matter of the particular class, and the Broadcaster shall comply with the order.
